Most awards programmes in artificial intelligence recognise what companies say they are building. The AIX Awards recognise what organisations have actually delivered — at the customer interface, at production scale, with independently verified outcomes.

Through AIX Research — our living, searchable platform monitoring AI-led CX implementations across twelve industries in real time — we track emerging best practices, identify breakthrough deployments, and build a structured record of what AI is actually doing at the customer interface globally.
When AIX Research identifies an organisation whose AI deployment demonstrates measurable, verifiable impact, that organisation becomes a candidate for invitation. The awards are not discovered by submissions — they are identified by our research. The submission process that follows is evidence-gathering, not discovery.
The AIX Ecosystem
AIX Awards span twelve industry categories and six cross-industry honours. Invited organisations may be eligible for more than one category.
Recognises AI deployments that measurably improved a customer's financial experience — in fraud resolution, conversational banking, personalised advisory, onboarding, or lending.
For AI implementations that transformed the policyholder experience: claims automation, underwriting personalisation, omnichannel service, or proactive customer communication.
Recognises AI at scale across customer service automation, churn prediction, next-best-action, network experience personalisation, or self-service transformation.
For AI-driven personalisation, recommendation engines, conversational commerce, visual search, or post-purchase experience that demonstrably improved customer outcomes.
Recognises patient-experience AI, diagnostic support tools, pharma customer engagement, or clinical communication systems with verified human impact.
For AI implementations that transformed the guest or passenger journey: itinerary personalisation, dynamic service recovery, in-stay or in-flight experience, or loyalty AI.
Recognises citizen-experience AI — multilingual services, accessibility improvements, benefits navigation, or government service automation with measurable public benefit.
For AI in vehicles, ride-hail, autonomous delivery, household robotics, or smart appliances that measurably improved the human experience of the product or service.
Recognises content recommendation, streaming personalisation, music discovery, gaming companions, interactive narrative, or creator tools with verified audience impact.
For smart meter experience, outage communication AI, personalised energy management, sustainability advisory tools, or customer self-service with measurable satisfaction outcomes.
Open to all sectors. Recognises the most compelling and responsibly deployed use of large language models, multimodal AI, or generative tools to transform a customer interaction at scale.
For organisations that have moved beyond AI assistance to autonomous AI systems — agents that plan, decide, and act across workflows — with verified outcomes and a demonstrable governance framework.
Recognises AI implementations that meaningfully improved access to products, services, or information for under-served, marginalised, or differently-abled customer groups.
For organisations demonstrating exceptional standards in AI fairness, transparency, explainability, and governance — with third-party validation and a documented accountability framework.
The single most consequential AI-CX implementation of the year — judged across all sectors by the full AIX Council. Not category-specific. Awarded at the discretion of the jury.
Jury DiscretionAwarded to the organisation whose AI-CX programme — across multiple deployments, sustained over time — most comprehensively demonstrates leadership, impact, and responsibility.
AIX Council's Highest HonourNot all awards will be given in any one year if there are no submissions of sufficient merit. Award titles may be varied to reflect the changing dynamics of each period.
Every submission is reviewed by the AIX Council — a jury of independent practitioners, researchers, and senior executives with no commercial relationship to any entrant.
Four Judging Criteria
Quantitative evidence required. Marketing materials not accepted as evidence.
Technology stack disclosure and architectural assessment required.
Deployment must demonstrate sustained performance, not one-time results.
Fairness, transparency, and documented accountability frameworks assessed where relevant.
There is no public voting. There is no sponsored category. Winners are determined solely by the AIX Council.
AIX Research continuously monitors AI deployments globally. Organisations demonstrating measurable, verifiable impact are identified and flagged as candidates — without any submission or self-nomination.
Upon identification, organisations receive a formal invitation from the AIX Awards team. An AIX Awards Liaison is assigned to guide the evidence submission process and manage the relationship through the judging cycle.
Invited organisations submit structured evidence in the prescribed PDF or online format. Submissions require KPI tables, technology stack disclosure, and a lessons-learned section. All submissions are treated in strict confidentiality.
The full AIX Council assesses submissions against four criteria. Council members with conflicts of interest recuse themselves from relevant submissions.
Winners are announced by 31 August 2026 and honoured at the Gala Awards Dinner in Barcelona, November 2026. Case studies are published in the AIX Council Annual Report on 1 January 2027.
The Advisory Council provides independent guidance on judging standards, category design, and the integrity of the awards framework. Advisors set the principles that govern how the programme operates.
